Focus and Scope
DIFERENSIAL: Jurnal Pendidikan Matematika is a scholarly journal that publishes research articles and academic studies in the field of mathematics education. The journal welcomes manuscripts in the form of research reports, research notes, and literature-based scholarly reviews relevant to mathematics teaching, learning, curriculum, assessment, and related educational issues.
The journal is committed to supporting the dissemination of high-quality academic work that contributes to the development of mathematics education theory and practice. Published articles are openly accessible through the journal website in order to encourage broader academic exchange, academic visibility, and the advancement of mathematics education.
DIFERENSIAL welcomes original contributions addressing classroom practice, pedagogy, curriculum innovation, assessment, teacher development, student learning, instructional media, and contemporary issues in mathematics education.

Peer Review Process
Every manuscript submitted to DIFERENSIAL: Jurnal Pendidikan Matematika will first be evaluated by the editorial team to ensure conformity with the journal’s focus and scope, compliance with author guidelines, completeness of article components, and general academic quality.
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening will be sent to reviewers through a double-blind peer review process. Reviewers assess originality, significance, methodology, clarity, relevance, and contribution of the manuscript to mathematics education.
The review process includes the following stages:
- Initial editorial screening for scope, format, and quality.
- Similarity or plagiarism screening.
- Reviewer assignment by the editor.
- Reviewers provide recommendations.
- Authors revise and resubmit the manuscript.
- The editor makes the final decision.
Publication Frequency
DIFERENSIAL: Jurnal Pendidikan Matematika is published twice a year, namely in June and December.
Open Access Policy
DIFERENSIAL: Jurnal Pendidikan Matematika provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
Users are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of articles, and to use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author, provided proper acknowledgement of the original work is maintained.
Archiving
This journal supports long-term digital preservation of scholarly content. The archiving policy is intended to ensure continued access to published articles and to preserve the academic record through appropriate journal preservation mechanisms.
Plagiarism Check
DIFERENSIAL: Jurnal Pendidikan Matematika is committed to maintaining academic integrity and publication quality by ensuring that every manuscript submitted to the journal is free from plagiarism and other forms of academic misconduct.
All submitted manuscripts are subject to plagiarism screening as part of the initial editorial review process before they are sent for peer review. The purpose of this screening is to detect possible textual overlap, improper citation practices, duplicate publication, and other forms of unoriginal content.
Authors are expected to submit only original manuscripts that have not been published elsewhere and are not under consideration by another journal. Proper acknowledgement of sources must be provided for all quoted, paraphrased, or adapted material.
If a manuscript is found to contain substantial similarity, suspected plagiarism, self-plagiarism, duplicate submission, or improper attribution, the editorial team may reject the manuscript, request revision, or take other editorial action in accordance with the journal’s ethical standards.
The journal reserves the right to re-check manuscripts at any stage of the editorial and publication process whenever necessary in order to uphold the credibility, originality, and scholarly integrity of all published articles.

DIFERENSIAL: Jurnal Pendidikan Matematika recognizes that artificial intelligence tools may be used in academic work for limited and transparent purposes. Their use must not compromise originality, accountability, and research integrity.
- Authors must disclose the use of AI tools in manuscript preparation.
- AI tools must not replace the authors’ intellectual contribution.
- Authors remain fully responsible for all content.
- AI tools cannot be listed as authors.
- AI must not be used to fabricate or falsify data.
