Edumaspul: Jurnal Pendidikan is concerned with publishing original research articles, review articles, and current scholarly issues in the multidisciplinary field of education. The journal provides an academic forum for teachers, lecturers, researchers, and education practitioners to contribute innovative work in the field.

The journal particularly welcomes manuscripts related to curriculum development, teacher education and professional development, teacher training, cross-cultural studies, learning, evaluation, English language teaching, counseling, management, educational quality, and the use of communication and information technology at various levels of education and in the delivery of learning.

Peer Review Process

Every manuscript submitted to Edumaspul: Jurnal Pendidikan undergoes editorial screening and peer review to ensure conformity with the journal’s focus, scope, and academic standards. The journal applies a double-blind peer review process in which the identities of authors and reviewers are concealed.

The review process generally follows these main steps:

  1. Every submitted manuscript is checked for completeness, suitability with the journal’s scope, adherence to formatting requirements, and similarity screening.
  2. Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are assigned to qualified reviewers with relevant expertise.
  3. Reviewers provide academic assessment and recommendations, which may include acceptance, minor revision, major revision, resubmission, or rejection.
  4. Authors revise the manuscript based on reviewer comments and resubmit it within the time frame determined by the editorial team.
  5. Once accepted, the manuscript proceeds to copyediting, layout editing, proofreading, and publication scheduling.

The peer review process is designed to maintain academic quality, fairness, and objectivity in all editorial decisions.

Authors are welcome to submit original and unpublished manuscripts throughout the year.

Edumaspul: Jurnal Pendidikan is published twice a year, in March and October.

Open Access Policy

Edumaspul: Jurnal Pendidikan supports open access dissemination of scholarly knowledge. Articles published in this journal are intended to be freely accessible to readers in order to promote broader exchange of educational research and academic communication.

Archiving

This journal may utilize archiving and preservation mechanisms to ensure long-term access to published content. A distributed archive system such as LOCKSS may be used to preserve and restore journal contents for scholarly access and continuity.

This statement clarifies the ethical behaviour expected from all parties involved in the publication process of this journal, including authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher. The policy is informed by the principles promoted by COPE’s Best Practice Guidelines.

Ethical Guideline for Journal Publication

The publication of an article in a peer-reviewed education journal is a fundamental contribution to the development of a credible and respected body of scholarly knowledge. Editorial integrity, rigorous review, transparency, and responsible authorship are therefore essential.

Publication Decisions

Editors are responsible for deciding which submitted manuscripts should be published based on academic merit, originality, relevance, clarity, and contribution to educational research and practice.

Fair Play

Manuscripts are evaluated on intellectual content without discrimination on the basis of race, gender, religion, ethnic origin, nationality, institutional affiliation, or political views.

Confidentiality

Editors and reviewers must not disclose information about submitted manuscripts except to those directly involved in the editorial process.

Duties of Reviewers

  • Contribution to Editorial Decisions: Peer review helps editors make decisions and helps authors improve their manuscripts.
  • Promptness: Reviewers should decline review invitations when they are unable to review promptly or lack sufficient expertise.
  • Confidentiality: Manuscripts received for review must be treated as confidential documents.
  • Objectivity: Reviews should be conducted objectively and supported by academic argument.
  • Acknowledgement of Sources: Reviewers should identify relevant uncited work and alert the editor to any substantial overlap or similarity.

Duties of Authors

  • Reporting Standards: Authors should present an accurate account of the work performed and its significance.
  • Originality: Manuscripts must be original and free from plagiarism.
  • Multiple Submission: Manuscripts must not be submitted simultaneously to more than one journal.
  • Authorship: Authorship should be limited to those who have made significant scholarly contributions.
  • Disclosure: Authors should disclose conflicts of interest and sources of financial support.
  • Correction of Errors: Authors must promptly inform the editor if significant errors are discovered in published work.
Plagiarism Policy

Edumaspul: Jurnal Pendidikan does not tolerate plagiarism in any form. All manuscripts submitted to the journal are subject to similarity screening as part of the editorial evaluation process.

Manuscripts found to contain substantial plagiarism, self-plagiarism, unattributed quotation, fabricated citation, or inappropriate textual reuse may be rejected immediately or returned for clarification and revision.

Authors are fully responsible for ensuring that the manuscript is original, that all sources are properly acknowledged, and that the work complies with academic integrity standards before submission.
