EduPsyCouns does not charge authors at the manuscript submission stage. All submitted manuscripts are first screened by the editorial team to ensure conformity with the journal’s focus and scope, author guidelines, originality standards, and ethical requirements.

The Article Processing Charge is requested only after the manuscript has been reviewed, revised where necessary, and officially accepted for publication by the editor. Payment of the APC does not influence editorial decisions, reviewer recommendations, or the scientific evaluation of the manuscript.

The journal maintains a transparent and fair publication fee policy to support open access publishing and sustainable journal management.

The Article Processing Charge supports the publication workflow and journal sustainability. The fee may cover the following components:

• Editorial administration and manuscript handling;
• Peer-review coordination and reviewer communication;
• Copyediting and language consistency checking;
• Layout editing and article formatting;
• Online publication and website maintenance;
• Metadata preparation and indexing support;
• Digital archiving and long-term article accessibility.

Authors will receive payment information after the manuscript has been formally accepted for publication. The editorial office will provide payment instructions, payment confirmation procedures, and publication scheduling information.

Authors should not make any payment before receiving an official acceptance notification from the journal. The payment confirmation should be submitted to the editorial office according to the instructions provided by the journal.

The journal may provide fee waivers, discounts, or special consideration under certain conditions, subject to editorial policy and approval by the journal management. Authors who require financial consideration may contact the editorial office after receiving an acceptance notification.

Requests for waiver or reduction should be submitted with clear justification. The decision regarding waiver or discount is made independently from the peer-review process and does not affect the scholarly evaluation of the manuscript.

Once an accepted manuscript has entered the production stage, including copyediting, layout editing, metadata preparation, or online publication, the Article Processing Charge cannot normally be refunded.

Authors are advised to carefully review all manuscript details, author names, affiliations, tables, figures, and references before final approval for publication.
