Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to Maspul Journal of English Studies (MAJESTY) undergo an initial editorial screening to assess their relevance to the journal’s scope, academic quality, and compliance with the author guidelines. Manuscripts that pass this stage are then evaluated through a double-blind peer-review process by independent reviewers with relevant expertise.

Regular Schedule

Maspul Journal of English Studies (MAJESTY) is published two times a year. Each issue contains scholarly articles that have successfully passed the editorial selection and peer-review process.

Special Issues

In addition to its regular issues, the journal may also publish special issues devoted to particular themes, emerging topics, or selected papers from academic conferences, subject to the editorial policy of the journal.

Authors’ Rights

1. Authors retain copyright of their work and grant the journal the right of first publication.
2. The published work is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License (CC BY 4.0).
3. Authors may enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the published version of the work, provided that its initial publication in this journal is properly acknowledged.

Journal Development

Maspul Journal of English Studies (MAJESTY) has been published since 2019 as a scholarly forum for the dissemination of research and academic discussion in the field of English studies. The journal was established to support the publication of quality scholarship in language education, linguistics, literature, and related areas, while also encouraging broader academic exchange among researchers, lecturers, practitioners, and students.

Over the years, MAJESTY has continued to strengthen its role as an academic platform that promotes rigorous, relevant, and accessible scholarship. The journal remains committed to supporting both national and international contributions and to advancing research-based dialogue in English studies.

Website Migration

Starting from Volume 8, Number 1 (2026), Maspul Journal of English Studies (MAJESTY) has migrated to a new journal website, which can be accessed at https://jurnal2.unimen.cloud/index.php/majesty. The previous website of the journal was https://jurnal.unimen.cloud/index.php?journal=majesty.

APC Information

Maspul Journal of English Studies (MAJESTY) charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) of IDR 250,000.00 for each manuscript accepted for publication. This fee is intended to support the editorial process, peer review management, copyediting, layout editing, and online publication of the article.

Submission Policy

There is no submission fee. The APC is payable only after the manuscript has been accepted for publication.
